Ο Γιώργος Σιταράς εκπροσώπησε τον Σύνδεσμο Ελλήνων Κτηματομεσιτών στo Συνέδριο και το Board Meeting του CEI που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις Βρυξέλλες στις 26 και 27 Νοεμβρίου 2009 αντίστοιχα

CEI: "The European Confederation of Real Estate Agents”
Η C.E.I. (Confédération Européenne de l'Immobilier: European Confederation of Real Estate Agents) είναι μια από τις μεγαλύτερες επαγγελματικές ευρωπαϊκές οργανώσεις μεσιτών, η οποία μετρά περισσότερα από 45.000 μέλη σε εκατοντάδες πόλεις , από δεκατρείς Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες, Αυστρία, Γαλλία, Γερμανία, Ελλάδα, Ουγγαρία, Ιρλανδία, Ιταλία, Ολλανδία, Πορτογαλία, Ρουμανία, Ισπανία, Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο και Δημοκρατία της Σλοβενίας. Η οργάνωση αντιπροσωπεύει συνολικά 60.000 χειριστές-μέλη.
During the CEI Board Meeting, that took place in Brussels end of November 2009, the CEI Board discussed the implementation of the EU Services Directive into national law. The period to implement the EU Services Directive into national law ends 28th of December 2009. "In most members countries the process to implement the Services Directive into national law is progressing gradually", explained Manuel Negrao, President of CEI during the Board Meeting.
After all members countries have implemented the Services Directive into national law the European real estate agents will have a one-stop-shop to open a new office in any of the EU members countries. "At least all real estate agents in Europe should be allowed to open new businesses in EU countries. During our conference the delegates from the 14 member countries in CEI noted that there are several restrictions by national trade law, that prevent them from doing so", Manuel Negrao summarized the discussion in the CEI Board.
"CEI decided to undertake a survey in which these restrictions on the trade regulations the EU member countries will be collated", Manuel Negrao explained. For CEI as a central organisation representing more than 90.000 real estate agents in Europe the free movement of services is an essential for the professionals and for the profession. "The new European Standard for the Service of real estate agents in Europe, that will be published by the CEN shortly, will provide a backdrop in the negotiations with the EU authorities", Manuel Negrao feels confident.

μέλος του συμβουλίου της Ευρωπαϊκής Συνομοσπονδίας
Μεσιτών Ακινήτων- C.E.I. (Confederation Europeenne de
l'Immobilier), εκπροσωπώντας την Ελλάδα μέσω του ΣΕΚ.
